Uniform Policy

Students are required to arrive at school dressed in school uniform only. As an Islamic school, we are committed to standards of simplicity, neatness, cleanliness and modesty. All students are required to wear the school uniform in a state of good repair when they are in the building. Good grooming, acceptable personal hygiene and adherence to the dress code are sure ways of demonstrating respect for oneself and others. 

Girls: Grades J.K – 8

•  Plain navy blue full length Jilbab/Abaya (no embroidery or writing)
• Hjab: plain white, properly pinned under the chin.
• Pants: navy blue or black, no print or decorations; no denim or skin tight pants.
• Shoes: soft soled, black or white shoes, no markings (flip-flops & wheelies are not allowed)
• Socks: black or white
• Sweaters: navy blue, black, white open front sweater/cardigan with no logos. 

Boys: Grades J.K – 8

• Shirt: plain white button down, collard dress shirt (no logos; sheer or tight fitting shirts are unacceptable; sleeves should not be pulled up, rolled up or short)
• Undershirt: plain white T-shirt/undershirt worn under the dress shirt; no logos or design of any kind allowed.
• Pants: Plain navy blue dress pants (non-stretch with no print or decoration) No denim/casual wear/cargo/skin-tight or corduroy pants.
• Shoes: soft soled, black or white shoes, no markings (flip-flops & wheelies are not allowed)
• Socks – black or white
• Sweaters – navy blue, black, white open front sweater/cardigan with no logos. 
• Boys may choose to wear a black or white Thobe with black pants on FRIDAYS ONLY.

• Do not, through your actions, prevent the teacher from teaching and anyone, yourself included, from learning.
• Always cooperate with all members of the school community
• Be respectful to others, the environment and yourself.
